The central Cascade Range in Oregon is a place where skiers and snowboarders love to be. Hoodoo Ski Area doesn't make any exceptions to this rule. The ski slopes are located on Hoodoo Butte. A volcanic cinder-cone, it offers skiers or snowboarders wide open terrain.
Snowy terrain is a major draw for visitors to the area. The 450 inches of snowfall per year means guests can expect new tracks each time they hit the slopes at the resort. There are 34 runs on over 800 acres so skiers and riders of all ages can have a great time.
Hoodoo offers many different types of lessons to suit everyone's needs. Beginners can choose a group lesson while more experienced skiers and snowboarders can take private lessons, or night lessons tailored to their needs.
YAWGOO
Its yawgoo terrain park is one of Hoodoo Ski Area’s unique features. The park is accessible off the Blue Valley slope and is great for practicing tricks whether you're snowboarding or skiing.

This is a good place to learn how to snowboard as the terrain park has a small size that doesn't overwhelm beginners. You'll have fun with the team of instructors no matter your age and ability level.
OAS Alpine Adventures
Oregon Adaptive Sports' (OAS) partnership with the Hoodoo Ski Area has created a number of opportunities for those who are able-bodied to enjoy the sport. The "OAS Alpine Adventures" program combines access to the ski area with instruction on four re-occurring Fridays or Sundays through the winter.
OAS ensures that participants' experiences are positive, no matter their goals. Volunteers and OAS staff are paired to lead the lessons.
The lessons are customized to meet the needs of each student and provide a variety of techniques to help them achieve their goal. OAS is committed to maximising the independence and potential of all participants.
CamPAH

It is an opportunity to grow and be part of a community that supports the disability community, and it is a great way for teens to make new friends. Participants will be meeting at the Coffield in Sisters between 6 and 7:30pm on Sunday, December 28.
Registration begins in September. To guarantee your spot, it is best to register as soon as you can. Once you've registered, you'll receive information on program descriptions, pricing and registration dates.
